A £500 payment to help you while you're self-isolating.
Test and Trace Support payments are one-off payments of £500 to help people who may be paid less while self-isolating. The payment will enable people on lower incomes to self-isolate when they test positive or are identified as a contact.
The scheme will run until 31 January 2021.
You can apply for a payment if you are required to self-isolate and can prove that you:

You must provide a recent bank statement. The payment will only be paid into the account of the person who is self-isolating.
These payments will be subject to income tax, but not National Insurance contributions.
You won't be eligible if your income is lower than normal because you are furloughed.
The application can be completed over the phone.
